New report says more babies aborted than born

The 2009 March for Life is set to take place on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and in cities right across this country on May 14. In New Brunswick, there will be a peaceful gathering in front of the NB Legislature in Fredericton at 12 noon. This show of support for life seems more important than ever in light of a new report from England that,  if we remain on our current path, may show Canada’s future.

As of 2008, more babies were aborted in England than were born. Read that again… more babies were aborted than were born.

They have tried to cut the number of teen pregnancies in the past years by handing out contraceptives for free and promoting “sex education” (sounds familiar), but their efforts have only resulted in a rise in pregnancies.

(Well, if you promote sex, won’t more people have sex? Should they be surprised by their results?)

Reaction to the numbers doesn’t make sense. There are now calls to go even further in persuading more teenagers to use contraception, and health officials are stepping up efforts to make sure women know that abortion is readily available.

We here at home are on a dangerous path toward this same outcome. We’re on our way, as approximately 1 out of every 3 babies in Canada is now aborted. Something needs to be done to preserve life, not promote its destruction!

CHP Canada offers better solutions for life…

  • Promote adoption, not abortion.
  • Protect unborn victims of crime.
  • Defend marriage and the family.
  • Prevent Euthanasia.
  • Introduce a family-friendly childcare allowance of $1000 per month for families where one parent remains home to raise the children.

Read more details here, and consider supporting the CHP both financially and with your vote at the next election. Help bring life and morality back to Canada!
