Dear Friend(s) of Life,
This is a reminder invitation to join us for the 2009 March for Life at the New Brunswick Legislature in Fredericton. I expect over 400, making it the biggest March ever! Five busloads are coming from various corners of the province. The forecast is sunny, 14 C. Come one, come all!
It all takes place Thursday, May 14, beginning at 12 noon and last until about 2 pm. We conclude with prayers beside the Morgentaler abortuary. After that there is a reception at the nearby Knights of Columbus hall.
Several MLAs have confirmed they planned to join us. The Catholic bishop of Saint John, Robert Harris, also plans to join us, as well as an array of other speakers. For further details visit our website: www.nbrighttolife.ca
Simultaneous marches will occur in Ottawa and provincial capitals across the country. It’s going to be a great day for life in this country – and we need it!
May 14 is the 40th anniversary of the infamous legalization of abortion in our country. Since 1969 almost 25,000 New Brunswick children have been aborted? This is a big deal, let’s show it by our presence! Let’s urge our government to choose life! (We’ll display a wreath of 250 roses – 1 for each 100 babies lost.)
One of the main focal points this year in Fredericton is the terrible tragedy of abortion on demand taking place in two our province’s hospitals. We need to put some friendly pressure on our government! Please help, not just by coming to the March but by approaching your own MLA. I suggest if possible making an appointment with your MLA for the Thursday morning prior to the March. You can, of course, also see them in your home consituency.
Please pray for God to use this day for his greater glory and to build up His kingdom of life. Hoping to see you soon,
